Solid Partners, LLC, the founders of The City Reunion Music Festival concept, has recognized the need for a “time to regroup as a city,” as it pertains to all collaborative efforts that are facing the challenge of continued growth in the city of New Orleans’ road to recovery. We also understand that Festivals and gatherings are a key component of this city’s culture and foundation, and its continuous climb in these recovery efforts. Therefore, we have created The City Reunion Music Festival, during Labor Day Weekend, for citizens; political figures; food and other small business vendors; local and national entertainers; and nonprofits to be able to come together, network, and enjoy a great celebration. We are not just organizing this event for the festivities alone, but to celebrate the milestones we achieve in our recovery, and to honor citizens who have been recognized for their hard work by presenting them with a "Crescent City Appreciation Award." Solid Partners understands that recognition is necessary. So, we offer our gratitude to the hard working citizens who stayed after the storm, and vowed to be a part of the solution, as well as the process of rebuilding, revitalizing, and restoring the spirit of this great city we call New Orleans. Although many have come back to face these challenges, there are many others who have not been afforded the same opportunity. Therefore, there is still a great deal of work to be done in this city’s recovery efforts.
